Open Museum is a series of conceptual games and activities to help introduce visitors of any age to items in the Middlebury College Museum of Art. Created as part of my undergraduate thesis work in Humane Design.
● Interface — 2022
“Forgery”One player sketches an item from the Museum collection, and others guess what it is. Like Pictionary.
“Closeups”Turning Art History department lectures into interactive visual tours of paintings in the Museum collection. Inspired by the New York Times’ iconic Close Reads series.
“Turntable”Using photogrammetry scans to turn Museum objects into interactive 3D exhibits.
“Pieces”
Turning paintings into unexpectedly challenging puzzles.
